She certainly knows her stuff, and we were thrilled when Sheri and her team of investors brought us on to help them flip this gorgeous detached home in the Calgary community of Bayview.
Project Background
Sheri saw huge potential in this home, and we saw it too when we walked in for the first time. The home had huge floor-to-ceiling windows, 5 beds, and 4 baths and over 2,000 sq. ft, but the problem was that it was built in 1970 – and you could tell!
With the addition of smart appliances, custom finishings throughout, a newly designed mudroom, quartz countertops, and custom cabinetry from yours truly, the home took on a minimal, chic, and modern vibe.

Cabinetry Details
Sencillo’s contribution was the kitchen, bathroom and mudroom cabinets. Sheri envisioned a very modern and minimalistic look in this space, installing black matte finish cabinets on the kitchen island and white matte cabinets for the rest of the kitchen. We installed matte black handles that synchronized the space, matching the black stainless steel smart appliances that were installed. We also added floating shelves in the corner and a pull-out garbage to maximize functionality and organization throughout the space.
The neutral colours make this space extraordinarily modern and give it a luxurious feel, while leaving room for the next homeowners to customize and make this kitchen their own.
